Neoss ProActive surface spotlight

We’re continuing our ProActive surface spotlight! Neoss ProActive Straight and Tapered Implants have dual surface roughness. The implant flange with low surface roughness is designed to reduce marginal bone loss (0.6mm after five years), while the rougher body of the implant is designed to optimize osseointegration.

Neoss ProActive® surface is superhydrophilic

The Neoss ProActive® surface is superhydrophilic. What does this mean?

By altering the surface characteristics of our commercially pure titanium implants through a multistage process which includes blasting, etching and treatment with hydrated ions, a superhydrophilic surface is created. Biological fluids are more attracted to a superhydrophilic surface, which enhances protein absorption and can lead to faster fibrin network formation. This speeds up osseointegration and healing in patients!

Neoss Implants

We're spotlighting the Neoss ProActive® surface, a unique feature of Neoss Implants. Developed with patented technology to improve the healing response in patients, our research has proven that it has an accelerated and stronger rate of osseointegration in comparison to a blasted implant surface.
